I can't believe I'm only posting this now! This oil is absolutely amazing. I use it on my edges ~ that needed a helping hand. I use it to seal my ends and I also use it for the LOC method. It's a very heavy thick oil with the look and consistency of honey. The smell is quite strong with the smell of the ash from the processing, but it doesn't last. The thickness of the oil is perfect for calming frizz. However, on thinner or straighter hair a little will go a very long way. Jamaican Black Castor Oil in particular has wonderful healing properties and promotes hair growth. It thickens the hair and adds moisture and shine. I've never used plain Castor Oil before so I am not sure of any similarities or differences except for the colour.
I use this product in my hair after wudhu, after a shower (without a shower cap) and of course after wash day or ghsul. I definitely cannot do without Jamaican Black Castor. Have you tried it before?
